Why TradieLink exists
I’ve grown up around building sites and I still work on the tools. The same story kept coming up: homeowners didn’t know where to start, and good tradies were too flat out on site to reply to every enquiry.
People were sending the same photos and job description to four or five different tradies, waiting days for replies, and still feeling unsure who to trust. On the other side, tradies were missing out on good work because they couldn’t sit on their phone all day.
TradieLink is my way of making that easier for both sides. One clear form. Proper details. Then we match you with suitable local tradies — not just whoever is closest, but who actually fits the job.
What matters to us
There’s no fancy corporate mission here — just simple ideas we stick to on every job we help with.
Your enquiry doesn’t disappear into a black hole. We read what you send, attach your photos, and get it in front of tradies who are actually suited to the work.
You shouldn’t need to chase ten different people. One form gives tradies enough info to respond properly so you can compare options and choose who feels right.
We care more about communication, reliability and quality than whoever comes in with the lowest number. A solid job done right usually works out cheaper in the long run.

I’m not a big company – I’m a builder from New Zealand who loves the trade and wants to make it easier for people to get good work done.
I still spend my days on site learning, building, making mistakes and getting better, the same as any other builder who cares about what they’re doing. At night and in between jobs, I’m building TradieLink.
My goal is simple: if you send a job through TradieLink, you should feel like someone has your back – whether that’s matching you with the right tradie or helping you make sense of a quote.
